Updating PHP Version on HostGator

Step 1: Access cPanel

Log in to your HostGator account. Navigate to cPanel through the dashboard.

Step 2: Select PHP Version

In cPanel, scroll down to the Software section. Click on MultiPHP Manager.

Step 3: Choose Your Domain

You’ll see a list of domains associated with your hosting account. Select the domain you want to update.

Step 4: Change PHP Version

From the dropdown menu, select the desired PHP version (e.g., PHP 8.0, 8.1, or 8.2). Click Apply to save the changes.

Step 5: Verify the Update

You can check the new PHP version by creating a phpinfo() page or by looking at the version in the MultiPHP Manager.
